100% vegetable sourced, patented fermentative glucosamine, which is also an environmentally friendly and sustainable glucosamine alternative.

Glucosamine is naturally present in the body's articular cartilage and is involved in the articular cartilage metabolism. Glucosamine acts as a constituent part of cartilage, joint surfaces, ligaments, joint fluid and spinal discs. Glucosamine maintains normal cartilage formation, joint function and well-being, and its greatest importance is in cartilage endurance and flexibility.

The amount of glucosamine in the joint decreases as a result of osteoarthritis or with age.

Particularly well suited for horses and dogs with heavy training, ageing or those, whose joints need extra support and rehabilitation.

CdG´s glucosamin is 100% vegetable based and vegan glucosamine product which is produced by fermentation process technology.

The key advantage of this is that by utilising this innovative technology, it is possible to produce glucosamine, to the same high-quality standard as shellfish glucosamine, but without damaging the environment. The process to manufacture glucosamine from shellfish requires a huge amount of chemicals and this in turn generates vast amounts of toxic waste water.

This option CdG is using only generates 10 metric tons of waste water to produce 1 metric ton of Glucosamine HCl, or approximately only 2% of shellfish derived Glucosamine waste. This small amount is easily treated in producer´s facility for environmental protection.
