Crushed chia contains all the nutriotions of whole chia seed. Crushed chia is particularly suitable for dogs with intestinal not able to digest the whole seed.

 

Chia facilitates natural well-being and can supplement the horse’s daily feed. Chia seeds contain more omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in an ideal balance than any other plant product. Chia is rich in essential amino acids, minerals, and vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, E) and has a high protein and fiber content.

 

Chia seeds are low in sugar and starch so it is suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis. Low sugar level may have positive effect on bowel functions. Chia contains high level of fiber which is good for equine digestive. Low starch and sugar content feed is thought to be useful for horses with stomach ulcers, insulin resistance, equine metabolic syndrome and gastrointestinal problems. A high-fiber, low starch feed is likely suitable for horses with gastrointestinal disturbance. Due to the low sugar, high-fiber and high oil content, chia can be extremely beneficial for horses experiencing muscle issues.

 

Chia easily gels and forms a film in the intestines that slows carbohydrate absorption, supports the normal function of body sugar level balance and intestinal health. Chia is perfect for supporting the normal equine metabolism and helps to maintain the normal weight control and intestinal functions. The absorbing properties of chia help ensure a perfect balance of fluid and electrolytes. High level of dietary fiber supports optimal intestinal functioning – Chia can thus be used to clear the bowels from sand. Chia is rich in omega fatty acids which helps to lubricate the horse’s skin and skin resistance. Chia is rich in Omega fatty acids which may have an positive effect on horse´s resistance to allergies, alleviate itching and promote the growth of strong hooves and shining, healthy horse hair. Omega fatty acids are also good for normal and healthy joint functions and healthy connective tissues. Dosage:

Horses ( 500 kg ) :

0,5 dl - 2,5 dl a day . Sand Removal max . 3 dl a day up to two weeks.



Dogs :

1 teaspoon - 3 tablespoons a day ( big / small dogs ) .

1 dl = 40 g.
