CdG Zinc ❤️ Copper Strong is a complementary feed for particular nutritional purposes (mineral feed) for horses, containing organic zinc and copper.

The product's particular nutritional purpose is to support the regeneration of hooves, skin and coat in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2020/354.

What is PARNUT?

PARNUT products are feeds developed for particular nutritional purposes. Their intended use, composition and labelling are regulated by EU legislation.

CdG Zinc ❤️ Copper Strong has been developed to complement the horse's diet with high-quality organic zinc and copper when there is a need to provide these nutritionally important trace minerals as part of a balanced feeding programme.

Why Zinc and Copper Together?

Zinc and copper are among the horse's most important trace minerals. They are involved in numerous normal metabolic processes and play a role in the function of many enzymes.

These two trace minerals are often considered together in equine nutrition because their balance influences how efficiently the horse can utilise them. Maintaining an appropriate zinc-to-copper ratio is therefore an important part of a well-balanced diet.

Thanks to its high concentration, a small 10 g daily serving provides:
- 580 mg organic zinc
- 120 mg organic copper

Organic Chelated Form

CdG Zinc ❤️ Copper Strong contains premium-quality Bioplex® Zinc 20% and Bioplex® Copper 12% trace minerals, in which zinc and copper are present in an organic chelated form.

The organic chelated form resembles the natural structure in which many trace minerals occur in feed. The trace mineral is bound to an organic compound, making its structure different from that of traditional inorganic mineral compounds.

Bioplex® trace minerals are among the world's most extensively researched organic trace mineral sources in animal nutrition. The organic chelated form is designed to support the efficient and safe utilisation of trace minerals as part of the horse's normal diet.

A Natural Part of the Horse's Diet

In nature, horses obtain trace minerals from a wide variety of plants. However, the mineral content of plants varies depending on soil conditions and growing environment, which is why ensuring an adequate intake of essential trace minerals is an important part of a balanced feeding programme.
