Finnish hemp powder 400 g for dogs

Chia de Gracia hemp meal is milled from whole oil hemp seeds and contains all the nutrients of the seed. The broken meal is absorbed more efficiently than whole seeds, especially in the dog's short digestive tract.

Hemp seed is rich in essential fatty acids as well as valuable gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and stearidonic acid (SDA). Gamma-linolenic acid helps maintain skin well-being, among other things. Stearidonic acid is an easily utilisable omega-3 fatty acid for the body. The fatty acids in hemp are in an optimal ratio of 3:1 (omega-6 and omega-3). According to studies, omega fatty acids can support joint metabolism in dogs in connection with osteoarthritis. Hemp also contains a high amount of vitamin E, which is an important antioxidant.

The protein in hemp seeds contains all essential amino acids. Hemp protein consists of 65% edestin and 35% albumin, which are high-quality and highly absorbable protein sources. Hemp protein does not contain the trypsin inhibitors typical of soy that impair absorption.

The carbohydrate in hemp is entirely fibre. Of the fibre, 24 g is insoluble and 6 g is soluble fibre. The high fibre content helps balance stomach function.
