Joint Buddy contains milled chia seeds, rosehip, devil's claw, boswellia serrata, MSM, meadowsweet, turmeric, nettle, and a pinch of love 🧡
• Milled chia seeds are rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Fatty acids are part of the normal structure of articular cartilage and cell membranes. In addition, chia adds fibre to the diet, which is part of the nutritional support of the stomach and skin.
• Rosehip naturally contains vitamin C as well as galactolipids. Vitamin C participates in collagen formation. Collagen is the normal structural protein of cartilage and connective tissues.
• MSM contains approximately 34% sulphur. Sulphur is a naturally occurring building block in the body, found in cartilage, tendons, and connective tissues, among others. MSM serves as a source of organic sulphur in the diet.
• The resin of the boswellia serrata plant has been traditionally used as part of herbal feeding. Its resin compounds are fat-soluble, and the natural fats in chia seeds complement this combination.
• Devil's claw and meadowsweet bring natural bioactive compounds from plants to the blend and complement a varied herbal diet.
• Turmeric naturally contains curcumin, which is part of the plant's own polyphenol composition.
• Nettle adds natural minerals to the diet as part of a varied herbal blend.
Chia de Gracia's Joint Buddy is suitable for use as part of the daily diet of horses and dogs. It is designed especially for active, highly mobile, and older animals – for situations where you want to add a versatile herbal supplement to the diet.
Movement is an important part of everyday life for joint health. Regular, appropriate exercise and a balanced diet go hand in hand throughout life. Cartilage tissue renews naturally, and its structure changes with age as part of normal ageing.
Dosage:
Horse 500 kg:
0,5 dl – 1,5 dl / day
1 dl weighs approximately 45 g, so at a 1 dl dosage the bag lasts approximately 35 days.
Dogs:
1,5 tsp – 3 tbsp / day (depending on the size of the dog)
1 tbsp ≈ 10 g.
Not recommended for pregnant or lactating mares / female dogs (due to boswellia, devil's claw, and meadowsweet).
A 4-day withdrawal period is recommended when competing.
