Ingredients and their properties

Himalayan salt
A natural source of minerals, containing several different minerals such as sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium.

Volcanic clay mineral (clinoptilolite zeolite)
A mineral-based raw material used in animal feeding due to its physical properties.

Cumin and star anise
Contain aromatic compounds naturally found in plants, which give the product its characteristic aroma and flavour.

Linseeds
A natural plant-based raw material that contains fatty acids as part of the seed's composition.

Using a salt lick increases saliva production, which is part of the horse's normal digestive physiology. The alkalinity of saliva is associated with the normal function of the stomach as part of the daily diet.
