Versatile and nutrient-rich rosehip for horses and dogs
Rosehip is an excellent, versatile natural food supplement for horses and dogs. Proven to support joint and abdominal health and function! Rich in vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant and supports the body's own immune system.
Powdered Rose Hip (Rosa Canina)
- Rose hips are rich in natural vitamin compounds, vitamins B, C and P, and oils, with essential oil-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Vitamins A and E protect cells from oxidative stress and support overall well-being. Vitamin A is important for skin, vision and reproductive health.
- Rosehip is an excellent natural and highly absorbable multivitamin supplement for horses and dogs. Rose hips are particularly rich in vitamin C, which has been shown to support natural joint health and act as an antioxidant against free radicals. Vitamin C maintains the body's own collagen production, which is important for the well-being of joints, tendons and ligaments.
- The seeds are rich in sulphur in its natural form. Sulphur occurs naturally in small amounts in the body and supports many structures and functions of the body, such as connective tissues, blood vessels, energy production in the body and the functioning of articular cartilage. Research has shown that rosehip powder maintains joint health. In addition to vitamins C and E and sulphur, the active ingredient galactolipid,** which helps maintain joint mobility and normal function, among other things.
- Rosehip is rich in amino acids and contains magnesium, which supports muscle function.
- Rosehip also contains fibre, minerals, trace elements and beta-carotene, which help maintain the body's overall well-being.
-
Rosehip contains pectin*, a soluble fibre that adds a soft fibre structure to the diet. Pectin is one of the fibres used in feeding as part of a balanced gut environment. The natural sorbitol in rosehip is part of its own composition and is part of the overall feeding system, especially in fibre-based feed formulations.
It is well suited to be used to support normal joint function in combination with nettle and MSM.
Especially for horses and dogs under heavy stress and ageing, and for animals whose joints need support and rehabilitation, rosehip is an effective natural supplementary feed.

More information and studies on rosehip:
Rose hip has been studied in horses and dogs and found to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. In addition, a group of horses that received rose hip showed better recovery after exercise, better coat quality and improved performance compared to a control group. In addition, studies* have found that rose hip reduces the risk and incidence of stomach ulcers.
