A Five-Fibre Blend

Fibre Dog contains milled hemp seeds, milled rosehip, carrot powder, psyllium husk meal, inulin, and a pinch of love .

Adequate fibre intake is important for the function and well-being of the digestive tract. Fibre acts as a prebiotic in the gut, providing a good growth medium for important digestive bacteria. Sufficient fibre helps maintain a healthy bacterial and microbial population in the gut, preventing the growth of harmful bacteria.

Fibre Dog contains both soluble and insoluble fibres, as they offer different benefits for gut function. In addition, adequate fibre supports the function of the anal glands. Firm stools help the anal glands empty normally.

The Fibre Dog fibre supplement contains five different plant-based fibres but does not contain any grains.

Adequate fibre intake helps prevent both constipation and diarrhoea. Fibres bind water in the gut and increase the bulk of the stool. Therefore, a fibre supplement is suitable for dogs suffering from constipation. Dogs suffering from diarrhoea or a loose stomach can also benefit from a fibre supplement, as fibres bind water but also support a healthy bacterial and microbial population in the gut. Fibres increase the feeling of satiety, making them excellent nutrition for dogs that are prone to gaining excess weight.

As a general rule, a good amount of fibre is approximately 5% of the dog's overall diet. Dogs that need a higher-fibre diet benefit from food with a fibre content of 6–10%.

Dosage for dogs:

under 5 kg: 1/2 scoop

5-20 kg: 1 scoop

21-35 kg: 2 scoops

35-50 kg: 3 scoops

1 scoop = 9 g (15 ml)

Mix into the regular feed.

Make sure your dog always has access to plenty of fresh water.
