CdG ORGANIC SELENIUM + E – Chelated selenium and vitamin E for horses

NOTE! NEW RECIPE & COMPOSITION

CdG ORGANIC SELENIUM + E contains organic selenium in the form of L-selenomethionine and natural RRR-form vitamin E. The product does not contain yeast-based selenium.

Selenium is a trace element that horses need daily from their diet. It is part of the body's normal antioxidant system and is associated with normal muscle function.

Natural RRR vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress and is an important part of the normal function of muscles and tissues.

Selenium and vitamin E work synergistically in the body. Selenium is involved in the function of antioxidant enzymes, and vitamin E protects cell membranes. Together, they form a balanced combination that supports normal muscle function and helps maintain the horse's natural vitality.

Adequate intake of selenium and vitamin E is particularly important for actively exercised and competing horses, growing foals, as well as pregnant and lactating mares.

Selenium is also one of the key trace elements for reproduction and is involved in the body's normal reproductive functions.

Selenium occurs naturally in low levels in Finnish soil, which is why its intake is typically ensured through complementary feeds.

Insufficient selenium intake can affect muscle function and the horse's overall vitality. Therefore, adequate selenium intake is an important part of a balanced diet.

CdG ORGANIC SELENIUM + E is combined with aronia, which naturally contains vitamin C and vitamin E, antioxidants, and abundant polyphenols (including flavonoids). Aronia adds a natural antioxidant profile and a pleasant taste to the product.
