Organic amino acid chelated zinc for dogs
NOTE! NEW RECIPE & COMPOSITION
CdG ZINC is a complementary feed designed to ensure adequate zinc intake as part of a balanced diet.
CdG ZINC contains organic amino acid chelated zinc in a natural and highly bioavailable form.
Zinc is a trace element that dogs require daily from their diet. It is present in all body tissues and is involved in numerous enzymatic processes as well as in the formation of proteins and collagen. Zinc is associated with normal growth and development and with tissue renewal.
Zinc contributes to the normal structure of skin, coat and nails. Adequate zinc intake is often first reflected in coat quality and the dog’s overall appearance.
Insufficient zinc intake may be reflected in coat quality and skin balance. Coat thinning or changes in coat quality may sometimes be linked to the overall feeding plan, in which zinc also plays a role.
The zinc requirement of a dog varies depending on size, age and activity level. Growing, pregnant and lactating dogs, as well as actively exercising individuals, have an increased need for adequate trace element intake.
CdG ZINC complements the dog’s zinc intake as part of a comprehensive trace element feeding plan.
The carrot powder used in the product contains natural beta-carotene (a precursor of vitamin A), which forms part of the normal nutritional support of skin and mucous membranes. The naturally sweet carrot powder makes the product easy to feed.
