Tummy troubles? Heartburn?
A natural feed blend to protect and soothe the dog's stomach and gut, and to maintain normal intestinal well-being. Forms a so-called protective stomach lining that shields the mucous membranes. The gel-like film produced in the intestine reduces the effect of acid, protecting the stomach's mucous membranes from the acidity of digestive fluids.
Protect That Tummy is a completely natural feed blend that supports the normal well-being of the dog's stomach and gut. The ingredients produce mucilage and create a so-called protective stomach lining. Contains plenty of fibre that supports intestinal function. The ingredients support intestinal balance and digestion, as well as the development of a healthy gut bacteria population.
Recommended for dogs suffering from heartburn, so-called stress stomach, or other digestive disturbances.
Contains: fenugreek, rosehip, pectin, brewer's yeast, lecithin, inulin, and a pinch of love 🧡.
- Inulin is a metabolism-related prebiotic, a dietary fibre that does not break down in the stomach or intestine. Inulin maintains microbial diversity in the large intestine and thereby supports the whole body's resistance and well-being.
- Lecithin "coats" the stomach's mucous membranes and maintains a healthy digestive tract. Lecithin has the ability to neutralise strong stomach acids. Lecithin strengthens the water-repellent surface layer of the intestine and thus maintains the normal well-being of the stomach's mucous membranes.
- Pectin forms mucilage in the intestine, which maintains the well-being of digestive tract tissue and balances the protective mucous membrane layer. Pectin also increases the buffering capacity of stomach acids and raises the pH of the stomach contents towards a more alkaline level. Pectin is also a natural prebiotic that supports beneficial gut bacteria.
-
Rosehip also contains pectin as well as sorbitol, which balances stomach acids and is often used as an ingredient in managing excess acidity.
- Fenugreek seeds produce mucilage in the intestine, which supports the normal balance and well-being of the digestive tract and reduces symptoms caused by intestinal imbalances. Digestive tract imbalances often cause bloating and gas, and fenugreek can also help balance these symptoms.
- Brewer's yeast: yeasts support digestion and promote healthy bowel function. At the same time, it increases beneficial gut flora and helps balance the stomach's healthy bacteria population.
