Perfect Skin – herbal blend for skin and coat

Perfect Skin is a 100% natural and nutrient rich herbal blend for horses and dogs. The product is designed to be used as part of feeding in situations where the nutritional support of skin and coat is especially important.

Perfect Skin adds plant based fatty acids together with a versatile combination of berries and herbs as part of the daily diet.

At the heart of Perfect Skin are chia seeds and sea buckthorn, which together create an interesting and versatile plant based fatty acid profile. Chia is naturally rich in omega 3 fatty acids, while sea buckthorn is particularly known for its naturally occurring omega 7 fatty acids. Sea buckthorn is one of the few plants that naturally contains significant amounts of omega 7. In addition, sea buckthorn contains several vitamins and antioxidants important for the skin.

Fatty acids are a natural part of the normal structure of skin and coat and naturally occur in the skin’s lipid layer. The role of plant based fatty acids in skin and coat nutrition has been examined in several animal nutrition studies.

Perfect Skin contains chia seeds, chamomile, calendula, heather, nettle, beetroot, dandelion leaves, lavender, sea buckthorn and a pinch of love 🧡

Natural composition

Chia seeds are especially known for their fatty acid profile and high fiber content.

Chamomile and lavender naturally contain plant specific essential oils that give them their characteristic aromatic scent.

Calendula, heather, nettle and dandelion leaves are plants traditionally used in feeding and bring natural plant compounds and variation into the blend.

Beetroot naturally contains several minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, copper, iron and zinc.

Sea buckthorn is particularly known for the berry’s natural oil profile. The skin and pulp of the berry contain approximately 30% oil with omega 7 fatty acids. Sea buckthorn seeds also contain omega 3, omega 6 and smaller amounts of omega 9 fatty acids.

Perfect Skin is suitable as part of varied feeding, for example during shedding season or in situations where natural variation is desired from the perspective of skin and coat nutrition.

The product is suitable when you want to add:

plant based fatty acids
berries and herbs
