Instant mash smoothie to pamper your horse!
Mash the Pony is a 100 % natural, super delicious, instant mash blend that makes a palatable drink for your horse's feeding. Mixed with warm water, it creates an aromatic mash smoothie that many horses love to drink.
Mash the Pony is suitable for year-round use. It makes a palatable warm drink for your horse during the winter months, or in summer heat when the horse has been sweating.
Adequate water intake is an important way to support the horse's digestion (White, 2009), as sufficient drinking is an important part of a horse's normal digestion.
A horse needs tens of litres of water per day. Horses often drink in connection with feeding. Water requirements are related to the horse's size, activity level, lactation in mares, weather conditions and the quality of the diet. Adequate water intake is especially important in winter, when horses may avoid drinking cold water. Warm water and a delicious yet healthy mash smoothie will tempt even the fussiest horse to drink!
Mash the Pony contents
Chia de Gracia's Mash the Pony is a blend of wheat bran, barley malt, chia seeds, inulin, brewer's yeast, nettle, Himalayan salt, apple pulp, peppermint, beetroot, and a pinch of love 🧡.
Mash the Pony contains wholesome, fibre-rich ingredients that support digestion, as well as naturally occurring electrolytes, minerals and vitamins.
No soaking required – simply mix with water and it's ready to use immediately.
Dosage:
Add 1–4 dl of mash to a bucket of warm water. Stir, let it steep until it smells irresistibly aromatic, and quench your horse's thirst!
Often a small amount is enough to make a pleasantly flavoured water.
1 dl = 50 g.
If you want to make a gut-friendly porridge for your horse, increase the amount of mash and reduce the amount of water, or add linseed, chia, etc.
Average nutritional values: (12MJ/kg)
Crude protein 14%, crude fat 5 %, crude fibre 18 %, ash 7 %, moisture 9%, sugar, 7,5%, starch 14%.
1 dl contains 4,5g sugar, 7g starch.
Tip:
By adding extra good-quality Himalayan salt or a ready-made electrolyte powder to the drink, you can ensure the necessary electrolyte intake, for example after competitions or strenuous exercise! It is best to offer the drink fairly soon after training, as a horse's sense of thirst tends to pass quickly.
Contains no pellets, extracts, concentrates, artificial flavourings, preservatives, colourings or similar.
*** Anti-doping screening (FCS/HSPS)
This product has been analysed using FCS/HSPS screening methods for selected contaminants and substances that are monitored in international competition.
FCS screening is specifically targeted at conventional feed raw materials and covers several known risk substances, such as caffeine, theobromine, morphine, scopolamine, theophylline, atropine and hordenine.
HSPS screening is aimed at plant- and herb-based raw materials, where natural variation in compounds is greater, and it expands the analysis to cover several other similar substances, such as reserpine, ephedrine and capsaicin.
The screening is part of product quality management and transparency in situations where competition-use requirements are also considered in feeding.
Certificates of analysis available upon request.
