WINTER
Vitamins and nutrients in hay gradually diminish over the winter months. Outside the grazing season, it is important to ensure sufficient vitamin intake. Vitamin E is particularly important, and the essential product for this is 100% natural CdGE. Other vitamins can also be supplemented effectively with, for example, rose hip, sea buckthorn, dandelion leaf, nettle, yarrow, blackcurrant leaves and berries, beetroot, bladderwrack, and various seeds. Especially in older horses, cold weather may affect joints and cause stiffness. This can be alleviated with fenugreek seeds, Boswellia serrata, rose hip, devil’s claw, and MSM combined with ginger.
SPRING
Shedding season! Coat shedding is demanding work, and during this period the horse needs more energy than usual. Brewer’s yeast and spirulina are excellent products to support coat shedding. In spring, refreshing plants include yarrow, nettle, beetroot, and pollen. In spring, many horses start pawing and nibbling at fragrant roots in the ground. This behaviour can be reduced by adding dandelion root or bentonite clay to the feed.
SUMMER
Summer and flies! Coconut oil, chamomile, and calendula soothe itchy and irritated skin. Garlic, chasteberry, lavender, and lemon balm have insect-repellent properties. Electrolyte Up is 100% sugar-free yet highly palatable electrolyte support. Mash the Pony encourages even picky horses to drink during summer heat and helps maintain proper fluid balance.
AUTUMN
Damp and chilly weather may cause respiratory issues. Deep Breath is an herbal blend to support the normal function of the horse’s respiratory system. Thyme is also beneficial for many horses as a respiratory aid. Black cumin seeds, garlic, Immune Boost, pollen granules, and CdGVinegar help support normal immune defence.
